HeadToHeadWrestling.com Is Online!

When the wrestling-simulator community was nearing its twilight era, community members feared that they would never again read the soul calming words of Jason Patterson or feel the excitement of a new beta release of What-ever-the-fuck 9,000,000 by Adam Jenland. The rest of us were just seeking refuge in the uploading of forum signatures featuring naked pictures of Brodie. When the door closed on the wrestling simulator community, so too did a chapter in many people’s sordid, internet-based second life. You know the kind I’m referring to; the one you have to hide from your girlfriend and her sister, the life you would receive a post-pubescent beating from your now 30 year old brother for.
The fact of the matter is that some of the most glorious moments of your altogether average life were made creating internet myths. Extreme Warfare Revenge and Promotion Wars, whilst never critically acclaimed by anyone important, certainly were deemed worthwhile auto-erotica by a select handful of us who would much rather spend nine years hidden away in our sweaty, dank bedrooms coding a wrestling-simulator or else swearing downstairs for our mothers to make nachos than learning how to masturbate correctly or how to date a girl. Whilst these days might be behind us, there still remains a sense of optimism that one day, one glorious day, Adam Ryland might suffer an injury of the extremities so severe that he will be forced to desist with his tireless outputting of the Total Extreme Wrestling series and someone much more capable might take up his mantle. We wish this in the vain hope that a decent wrestling promotion simulator, of the same calibre as Championship Manager, might be released to the awaiting clutches of our small republic.
When that day arises we shall be waiting. Waiting to review, criticise, analyse and throw popcorn at our overly large HD TV screen-forward-slash-PC monitors. Head to Head will be lurking in the wings, waiting to strike this new-age Messiah with a brick and interview the absolute shit out of him. On that day I will happily relinquish a 10/10 review in a poorly hashed video format and I will say, “SIR, WELL DONE THAT MAN.”
